Fortune Cottages is a 5 acre piece of riverfront paradise in Fortune PEI. We are situated along the warm and swimmable Fortune River, outside the town of Souris PEI. We offer a 4bdrm, 3bdr, 2bdrm and 1 bdrdm cottage, all fully equipped.

The cottages are owned by Mike and Michaela Burns. Michaela was raised between Vancouver and Prince Edward Island, and has always called PEI “home”. When her west coast husband visited the island for the first time in 2008, he immediately “got it”, and we know you will too!

The Burn’s first build a cottage at 360 Fortune Wharf Rd in 2011, directly across the river front Michaela’s childhood home. In 2017 they added the adjacent property to the mix, now offering 4 enchanted cottages for their friends, family and visitors to enjoy.

Mike and Michaela now live in Toronto, with their 2 sons. Michaela runs the Interior Decorating firm, Mint Decor and has brought a sophisticated yet comfortable touch to the Cottages.
